Within the scope of the İKSV Music Festival, with the Resonance Roots project, the Greek composer Dimitris Skyllas will perform the world premiere of the work called The Last Anthem, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the population exchange.

About the event
The artist describes The Last Hymn as “a contemporary elegy dedicated to the refugees; “It is a musical symbol of compassion and cultural brotherhood, but most importantly, it is a reminder in the face of loss and pain that we are all the same, regardless of geography or ethnicity.” defines it as. The world premiere of the work written for SATB choir, trombone, lady and percussion will be performed by the Rezonans choir founded by conductor Burak Onur Erdem, along with Maria Deli, Tolga Akkaya, Müşfik Galip Uzun and Lena Şenol.
In this project, Rezonans will also perform the works of important composers such as Rheinberger and Pärt.
